Penelope Eberhart Freeman
Parent Representative
After many years living and working internationally, in 2022 I returned to Australia with my partner and our two children.
A significant motivator for our return was the desire for the children to have access to quality public education which is inclusive, takes a whole of community approach, and provides opportunities for parental involvement. I have fond memories of my own school experience, and my parents' and neighbours' involvement therein.
We feel fortunate to have found that community at MPPS, and have endeavoured to contribute wherever possible thus far, be that as parent helper, as class rep, at sports carnivals or in the canteen.
Professionally, I work in Legal and Compliance, and currently hold the role of Regional Compliance Officer and Senior Legal Counsel for a Swiss based company in the logistics and shipping sector. Prior to moving overseas in 2009, I worked in the public service as a Commonwealth Prosecutor focusing on Tax and Economic Crime.
With our children in Year 1 and Year 4 at MPPS, I look forward to many more years of contribution and participation.
