Kindy Hospital Incursion

In Week 6, Natalie from AWCH (The Association for the Welfare of Children in Hospital) visited the Kindy to talk to the children about what would happen if they ever needed to go to hospital. The children did an amazing job of listening to her presentation and then got to help her demonstrate how a doctor might listen to their heart, take their blood pressure and temperature, give them a needle or get them ready for an operation. They got to play with toy ambulances and helicopters, measured their bodies against a giant skeleton puzzle, got dressed up as surgeons and even took rides in a wheelchair!
