Book Week 2023
Wimpy Kids, Gangsta Grannies, Minecraft Zombies and a generous smattering of Harry Potter characters strutted their stuff at the Book Week Costume Parade on Wednesday, August 23. Where's Wally ran the show, and it really was an amazing parade! Grove Library Youth Librarian, Stewart Farley, stayed to watch the parade after impressing the Year 4 students in the library with his knowledge of children's literature. Other classes visited the Grove Library during Book Week to meet local authors and illustrators, Raewyn Caisley and Briony Stewart, and be entertained by the irrepressible Glenn Swift.
On Monday, August 28, the whole school enjoyed a musical incursion "Way too Cool" based on the CBCA Book Week shortlisted books.
It was a fabulous Book Week!
