House Middle Distance Running plus Jumps and Throws
The Year 3 - 6 students competed in the Middle Distance Running event on Tuesday August 16. All students ran in a 200m race with their peers and later in the day, the Year 5s ran in a 400m race with the Year 6s running in an 800m race.
The top seeded Year 3 - 6 students also competed in our Jumps and Throws event on Friday August 19. The students each conducted 3 long jumps or 3 long vortex throws.
The top performers in these events will represent our school in the interschool events later in the term. Individual championship points and house points are earnt through these events and individual athletics champions the overall winning house will be determined and awarded at our House Carnival on Thursday September 1.
