Narragunnawali Awards 2021
Even though we did not win the award for schools with RAPs, our school is still very proud of the work we have done in the 18 months we have had our Reconciliation Action Plan- it will feature in our new Business Plan in 2022. Our Elder on the School Board and Pamela Chatfield are pictured below with the Finalist awards. We are one of three schools nationally (public or private, primary or secondary) recognised for this biannual award. We were also represented at the first national Australian Reconciliation Convention in over 20 years with speakers such as Narelda Jacob's, Senator Patrick Dobson, Linda Burney (MP), Fred Chaney and Ken Wyatt (AM MP) amongst others. Pamela Chatfield represented MPPS as a panel member in a session about reconciliation in schools. We remain the only WA school to have been a finalist in this prestigious award.
