ANZAC DAY 2021
Whist most people were only able to commemorate ANZAC Day in their driveways again this year, MPPS and MPSDC had an ANZAC service on Thursday (22nd April). Highlights of this years' service were guest speakers, Lt. Col Luke Condon from Irwin Barracks and one of our parent community, Steven Thorpe (retire army Lt. Col.). Members of the Mosman Park RSL also attended, along with the Deputy Mayor, Andrew Maurice, and the Member for Cottesloe, David Honey (MLA). Another change for us was being able to hear the Ode and the Acknowledgement of Country read in both English and Noongar. After laying the huge number of bouquets and wreaths during our service, they were then taken up to the Town of Mosman Park and laid there by our Head Boy, Rafferty Scott, and Head Girl, Lucy Hawksworth, with Mrs Margaret Baldwin (OAM). Many thanks to all who made this a successful and meaningful event.
