Parent Representative
I am the parent of one child who attends Mosman Park Primary School, currently in year 5. I have been involved with the school since 2016 when my daughter commenced Kindergarten. As a family, we have lived in the Mosman Park area since 2013.
For the majority of the last 25 years, I have been employed as a criminal lawyer, both in the United Kingdom and in Australia. I am currently employed as a State Prosecutor.
Throughout my career I have had a great deal of exposure to the less privileged in society and those who have had the most deprived childhoods. This has installed in me a strong desire to advocate for a school that recognises and acts upon the difficulties some children face to avoid what is often an inevitable future. I am proud to serve on the Board of a school which addresses these issues. Further, it gives me great pleasure to assist by volunteering my time at initiatives provided by the school.
I am also a strong advocate for the benefits of a school environment that embraces diversity, equality and inclusivity and the fundamental right of every child to a safe and supportive learning space.
